Artwork Guidelines

***The following instructions will help us provide you with a fast, quality setup for your custom products.

For the best results, please submit your artwork in the following format:

• .pdf - Portable Document Format

*Note that you should actually create this file type and not simply rename them to match the extension.
*The above format is recommended for all custom applications.

Acceptable Alternatives

• .ai - Adobe Illustrator
• .eps - Encapsulated PostScript
• .cdr - CorelDraw
• .psd - Adobe Photoshop
• .bmp - Windows BitMap
• .jpg - JPEG BitMap

*Note that the original image should be at least 300 dpi to avoid pixilation when adjusting the image size.
*These formats are not recommended for embroidery, screen printing, or engraving.

Quick Tips

1. The customization is only as good as the artwork we receive. Please utilize the recommended formats below when submitting artwork.
2. We can accommodate both Mac-based and PC-based artwork.
3. Special Fonts must be e-mailed in a .otf or .ttf format.
4. Artwork should be converted to curves (a.k.a. "outlines") before submission.
5. Provide the necessary Pantone-Matching-System colors whenever possible to get the closest match for color. Color-matching is available for many colors. If you need exact ink colors, we will need the precise CMYK levels for ink mixing. This service incurs a $50.00 fee. Some shades of color are more achievable than others, considering the types of ink we use and the materials they are applied to.

Namify FTP Server: For Files That Exceed 10 MB

Instructions for Microsoft Windows 7

1. From the start menu, type "Computer", and select "Computer" from the programs above
   
2. Type the following into the address bar and hit Enter: ftp.namify.com/ftp
   
3. Drag and drop your file into the My Computer window.
• ***Please note that your artwork file should copy over and display in the ftp.namify.com/ftp window. As soon as you refresh that window, that file will disappear for security reasons, but know that on our side, it will already be available to us for viewing
4. Repeat these steps with as many files as you need to upload.
5. Once complete, email your Branding Expert with the names of the files uploaded, and they will quickly retrieve them from our ftp site and attach them to your order.

Instructions for Microsoft Windows XP

1. Open up My Computer
   
2. Type the following into the address bar and hit Enter: ftp.namify.com/ftp
• ***Only do the next two steps steps if the address bar is not showing:
1. Go to View->Toolbars and verify that the address bar is checked.
   
2. If it is checked and you can’t type, you may need to unlock the toolbars (view->toolbars->unlock) and drag the address bar into a new location.
   
   
   
3. Drag and drop your file into the My Computer window.

Instructions for Mac or Linux

1. Download filezilla (http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client), select your operation system, and download.
2. After downloading the FTP client, enter the Login Informtaion below to connect.

• ***Login Information
• Host Address: ftp.namify.com/ftp
• User Name: Anonymous
• There is no password
• Port: 21

Browse to the "FTP" folder on the right window (as seen below) and begin uploading your files
*Please note that you will be able to upload but not download any of the files from the ftp site to protect individual's privacy
