The Big Business and Technology Expo was held at the UCCU Event Center at Utah Valley University on February 29 and March 1. Keynote speakers included Steven M.R. Covey and Governor Gary Herbert. Namify™ was out in full force as an official 2012 sponsor of the event and as a vendor. Paul Shin and Nick Vance manned the booth, getting people interested in the great products we have, and making quite an impression. The Big Business and Technology Expo is just one of the events that make the Utah Valley such a great place to do business. Namify™ is proud to support local businesses and looks forward to an impressive 2012 business year.

This month we are adding a new weapon to the Namify™ arsenal: the Anajet Direct to Garment printer. This printer is the industry’s best option for printing on apparel to make promotional, customized and personalized products. The printer will be capable of producing about one print per minute. And it can print on more than just t-shirts, including scarves, aprons, totes, towels, mouse pads, art canvases, and more!

The printer’s custom “one off” ability is efficient and requires no setup. This is the kind of efficiency we strive for at Namify™ and it will allow us to reach the needs of all of our customers- from individuals and startups, to Fortune 500 companies. We are excited to be able to provide our customers with the highest quality products at great prices. Ryan Gibert, our Textile Press Lead, is very excited about the new machine. “It will give us the opportunity to do so much more for our customers. Whatever they need, whether it’s one shirt, or five hundred, we’re going to be able to take care of them quickly and keep them coming back”, says Ryan. On the 22nd of February, the employees of Namify™ got together for another wonderful Carne Asada party. These get-togethers have been a long standing tradition here and are definitely one of the more popular parties that we throw for our people. Everyone loves to follow the wafting smells that fill the warehouse and offices over to the basketball court for some of the best food this side of the Rio Grande! Company Parties are a great chance to get to know the people you work with and socialize with friends and family. Many thanks to Joe Banditos for catering, Celso for cooking up the meat to perfection once again, and to Stephanie for making sure we didn’t burn the place to the ground!

Congratulations to Karen Rodeback for being voted as our Employee of the Month of March! Karen has been with Namify™ for three years, as the A.R./Collections Specialist. She was born in Seattle, Washington. Karen’s favorite thing about working here is getting to work with the people she adores. She says Namify™ has the most amazing people! Outside of work, Karen loves her night classes where she studies to become a Master Herbalist. Karen married her high school sweetheart and has two wonderful kids, Mitchel and Torrey.
